The Gîte Les Vieilles Poutres is the farmhouse of our Domaine, an old barn, it dates from 1742.

It is located on the central courtyard. There is a beautifully landscaped and landscaped garden. For generations this farm has been inhabited by families who lived here with their cattle in the hamlet of La Valade.

We have completely renovated the cottage this winter 2021. We have redecorated the large living room as well as the three bedrooms.

The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, an electric oven and a washing machine. There is a dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine and a built-in fridge with freezer. Everything you need in a kitchen is available.

The living space is heated by a wood stove. There is a tiled floor, so the house is also suitable for guests with small dogs.

There are 3 bedrooms all heated. The two main bedrooms are located on the first floor. They both have a 160 x 200 cm bed. A cot is available if needed. A small third bedroom is accessible on the second floor, it is equipped with a double bed of 140 x 200 cm. All bedrooms have a large closet.

Upstairs, there is a bathroom with a shower, a sink and a toilet.

A second separate toilet is present on the ground floor.

The garden is fully fenced and private. You have a terrace with a private lounge and a barbecue. The garden is safe for small children.

Under the walnut trees, you can rest on the deckchairs when the sun is too hot during the day, but also for your evenings and your meals during the balmy summer evenings.

In winter or on cool evenings, the cottage can be heated by the wood stove. The wood comes from our own forest and is delivered to your home by wheelbarrow.

The rooms are equipped with individual electric heaters. Heating is included in the weekly price.

Free Wi-Fi is available at Les Vieilles Poutres. End-of-stay cleaning, bed linen and bath towels are included in the price of the stay.
